For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.
Opening hours are published for 5 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. Its website is calimacoffee.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 331 reviews, which is a strong result for a café in München and suggests consistent service.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Real specialty coffee, no shortcuts. ☕️ Great coffee, warm banana bread 🍌🍞, a space with soul, fair prices, and genuinely friendly people. Calima feels more like a community than a coffee stop 🤍

Cozy coffee corner, close to Westpark. They meet the double grinder requirement - offering one origin sitting in the classic chocolaty taste, and a second one exploring fruitiness. Both of them, roasted under their name and being single origins. I decided on the fruity Ethiopia, as a flat white. It was flawlessly prepared, with their beautiful Rancilio, and perfect milk texture. Their crockery choice is as beautiful as original, escaping from the main top ceramic brands found anywhere else. They were offering also homemade cookies looking so tempting, which I did not try this time. Additionally, you can get their beans from home and some coffee ware like paper filters. Service wise, they were kind and attentive. The atmosphere inside, even being a small place and packed by the time I visited, was relaxing and peaceful. Totally recommended.

Very good coffee, fluffy foam on the cappuccino. Don‘t get me started about the pistachio and white chocolate cookie, it was probably one of the best cookies i ever had. The staff was very kind and helpful, they asked if we wanted to share the cookie, we said yes and they brought an extra fork and cut the cookie in half. Very cool vibe and chill mellow music.
