About Café Jasmin

Café Jasmin is a café in München, Bayern. It is listed at Steinheilstraße 20, 80333 München, which places it among the local businesses of München that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under coffeeshop, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.

Opening hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 10:00–01:00. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. More information is available on its website, cafe-jasmin.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 1,798 reviews, which is a strong result for a café in München and suggests consistent service.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We got seated rather quickly or we found ourselves a place to seat so to say. The environment is cozy and relaxing 😎 and we did enjoy the tapestry on the wall. It could be an ideal place for indoor dining when you're in a group. However, it took more than 10 minutes to get someone to take our order. We simply ordered cakes 🍰 which were already baked and ready to serve with cappuccino ☕☕. But it took another half an hour to get our order at time we were already planning a walk out. This would have felt like the norm except someone who got seated with us had his order in less than 5 minutes of being seated. I have no idea what we did wrong but this was far from the quality of service we were expecting. At the end, we still got a really cold rhubarb cake and left with a promise not to return again.

One of my favorite spots in Munich while visiting. If you're looking for a cozy late night spot to sip on some tea and eat a little dessert, this is the spot to go. Everytime I went, there was no wait, and we were seated immediately. And I appreciated that everyone could speak English! Even more impressive, I was asking a staff member if there were any late night food places in Munich. She gave me a helpful response, and then asked if I was Korean. We ended up having a lovely conversation all in Korean! That was such a lovely surprise and speaks to the internationality of this cafe. In total, I tried the apfelstrudel, oat cappucino, zuchinni cake, and a peanut banana cake. (Don't worry, it was on separate occasions). My favorite was the zuchinni cake (not too sweet, well spiced, and moist) and the apfelstrudel (classic Bavarian dessert!). Price wise, I mean it's Munich, but I thought it was fair and didn't take too much note of it. Would come here again, it's a lovely local establishment with cozy and earnest vibes.

Quaint and cozy little spot! We treated ourselves to a delightful afternoon treat of coffee and a slice of cake—because why not? The staff were as friendly, and the interior felt like a warm hug. And let’s talk about the outdoor seating—perfect for soaking up the breeze while pretending to be sophisticated. Prices? Right in line with the city’s average, but our experience was delightful enough to make us consider moving in!

Very nice Breakfast hotspot in Munich!! Trendy young Vibe and Ambience. I was impressed by their Vegan breakfast options, as well as many options of nondairy milks including lactose free milk which I have not seen in any other cafe. That was a very detail oriented option which was offered with Love!! In their menu they did a great job catering to different tastes!! It’s a very popular cafe with a cozy Victorian interior!! Definitely deserves a visit!! Absolutely recommended!
