Nice traditional Bavarian restaurant with good food and a Biergarten. It is difficult to get away from other tourists in Munich, but this place is better than most, tucked away in a residential neighborhood near the English Garden. They serve Löwenbräu beer here. Servers are friendly and I was seated right away, although I was only one person and it was early for dinner. The inside is elegantly decorated. The Biergarten is traditional and quite spacious. There is paid street parking nearby and accessible by U6 with a short walk. Perfect stop after a day of exploring in the park.

Lovely Bavarian no-frills restaurant in a traditional building, with a big beer garden. A little bit off the beaten track, it’s not as flooded with guests as the places in more southern English garden. We enjoyed a yummy pork knuckle with dark wheat beer, just as good as you wish it to be in such a place.

We had a lovely Bavarian dinner at Brunnwart. Since it was a weeknight, the place felt relaxed and not too crowded. The beer garden was charming, beautifully lit with strings of lights, creating a warm atmosphere. We ordered Bavarian specialties – the pork knuckle and Nuremberg sausages – along with some tap beer. The drinks were good, and I especially enjoyed the refreshing lemonade-beer mix. While the food was as expected and not particularly outstanding, it was still satisfying. My 5-year-old daughter was delighted with a giant pretzel, and we all shared the daily special – Kaiserschmarrn flambéed with raisins and almonds, served with apple sauce. The portion was generous, more like a main course than a dessert.
