About Boutique Hotel Morgentau

Located at Bräugasse 19, 94032 Passau-Altstadt, Boutique Hotel Morgentau operates as a hotel serving Passau in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

When booking accommodation or travel services in Germany, confirm the check-in window, whether the rate includes breakfast and the local city tax (Kurtaxe or Bettensteuer), and what the cancellation terms are; pensions and Gasthöfe are often family-run and appreciate notice. Reviews that mention noise, bed size, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices jump around trade fairs, the Christmas markets, Oktoberfest and the summer school holidays, so book early for those dates.

No opening hours are on file. On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 280 reviews, which is a strong result for a hotel in Passau and suggests consistent service.

Passau is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

A lovely hotel in a really good location. It isn't what I expected, but I really like the room, the honesty bar is great but hope there is a camera. The rooms are a nice size, a big bed, small cupboard to put clothes on and a cool clothes rack hanging from the ceiling. Bathroom is a nice size with a big shower. Staff leave at 17.30, so if arriving late they explain how to get in. The staff are friendly and helpful with information. My colleague has a river view which was really nice - my view wasn't. I will definitely stay here again as I work nearby sometimes.

One of the most beautiful rooms I've ever stayed in. We got a river view just expecting to have a window looking out. Instead we opened the door to a spacious room with a enclosed sun room/balcony! It was awesome. The staff were great and went the extra mile to watch our bags as we took a train early the next morning and been gone a day so we didn't have to haul them around! Such a great clean beautiful place! Thank you for everything! We wish we could have stayed longer!
