Berlin is in the state of Berlin, the capital and largest city of Germany; summers are warm, winters grey and cold with occasional snow, and the dense U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus network puts most businesses within a few minutes' walk of a stop. For directions in Berlin, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

I went through the burden of getting the scholarship from the state to do German classes free of cost. I went to this school and trusted them the papers to enrol in the course. After 4 months of waiting, I went back there to ask for my papers so that I could try to enter in another school as it was taking too long and they didn’t have any forecast of when I would be able to start it. They simply lost my papers. Extremely disappointing.

i feel very conflicted about this review. on one hand i find the atmosphere this school provides to be very positive. on the other hand, just because i have a disability they refused to give me an exam at the end of the course and didn’t tell me about it until the deadline of the registration of the exam. I am forced to waste months of my time, go through the process of registering on my own and deal with a lot of anxiety. as a disabled person i would highly advice caution before joining this school. they don’t care about us and will try their best to avoid responsibility.

I did just over three months of the integration course here, which is 12 hours per week of classroom time. Olia and Kay were some of the best language teachers I've ever had, and I've had many in my life. They seem to never run out of patience or energy, always keeping the class engaged and encouraged. They're both great at explaining the language, from the formal rules to what you'll actually hear in town, and also German culture. They were creative in mixing up the exercises and assignments. They also went out of their way to get to know students and help them with other things in their lives too. I'm truly sad my work schedule prevents me from attending further. The school's more open-minded cultural lean also made me feel at home. We would examine different political groups and current events and review the critiques from all sides. If you're looking for an expensive-feeling school with perfect furniture and a scary teacher who you're afraid to make a mistake in front of, I'd recommend somewhere else. But for many of us, I think this is a better place to learn. They even help you get set up with all the paperwork or requesting payment assistance from government programs where

For me it's the best school in the city. Not just because of the location, which is very pleasant, but mainly because of the teachers and the open-mindedness of everyone who attends. A place that welcomes you no matter who you are, what your background is, and makes you move forward. What's more, the lessons go beyond the conventional textbook. I did the course up to O-kurs and I can only thank Babylonia for everything. Special thanks to Olia, Silv, Steffen and Malte.

I tried to apply for a beginners German course after being recommended there by 2 friends. I went to the school 4 weeks in a row and afterwards gave up. One time they were closed, one time they didn't tell me the right time to come back for the initial exam, one time I came 1 hour early so they told me to come back, then when I came back they said I was too late and the exam was full even though I came at the time they told me, then the last time the examiner never turned up. Their organisation is awful, I'm not going back.
