Passau is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We spent 4 nights here with our family and had a generally pleasant stay, though there are a few details that could be improved. On the positive side, we loved the beautiful, brand-new, and modern bathroom, and the room's A/C was exceptionally powerful, quiet, and easy to adjust. Having access to a secure underground garage with space for bikes was absolutely perfect for our cycling trips along the Danube and Inn rivers. We also highly appreciated the very friendly hotel staff, the excellent public transport connections to the city center, and the outstanding, well-above-average breakfast coffee. However, the breakfast itself was quite minimalist, and it would be a great improvement to add some warm options like scrambled eggs or sausages. Lastly, while the rooms were clean overall, more attention should be paid to cobwebs on the ceiling and around the windows; furthermore, due to the high number of spiders on the building's facade, we unfortunately couldn't open the windows at all.

Standard breakfast selection. Everything was working fine. Friendly staff. Room was spacy enough, but there was at least one wardrobe missing. You have to prebook cleaning. Very handy hotel to come with a car. There was very humid in the room after shower. WIFI was working well.
