Augsburg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Augsburg is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

This Airbnb in Augsburg, Germany is a great place to stay! It is centrally located when touring the Bavarian area. It is an easy day drive to many popular destinations, such as Munich, Dacchau, and the famous Neuschwanstein Castle. The hosts, Keith and Agnes, have furnished it with everything needed when traveling. If you need something all you have to do is ask them, and they do everything they can to supply it. It is very spacious, modern in furnishings, and extremely clean . I highly recommend this Airbnb!!!

We stayed here in June and loved it. The apartment is spacious, has all the amenities including a terrific coffee maker. The beds are comfortable and the hosts are very accommodating. It has a large patio with great seating. The location is ideal for side trips to some of Germany’s major sites to visit. Highly recommend!

We had the best time staying in this Airbnb! Everything was brand new and stylish. It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful, private outdoor seating area and spent each evening relaxing there after sightseeing. The neighborhood was nice and close to delicious bakeries and everything we needed. The hosts were so friendly, helpful and fun! They went above and beyond to make sure our first time in Augsburg was wonderful.
