One of the most beautiful and peaceful place in whole Köln. If you believe in Christ Jesus you can seat there for hours and contemplate His Body and Blood in tabernacle, meditate over the Mysteries of His Passion or just listen to the beautiful silence. If you don't believe in God carry on walking.

Calm, pared-down and full of geometric rhythm. A space that invites meditation. Outside to the back of chirch stands a statue of Johann Adam Schall von Bell. His dedication to the missionary endeavor and his contribution to China’s astrology make for a fascinating reed.

Very worthwhile visit to this church right close to downtown Cologne. Loved the architecture and the style of this church. The building is not as old as some others in Cologne however worth visiting.

Context: Was in Cologne in Jul-2022 with friends, and found myself drawn into this building. Open to the public. Calm interior. Surprisingly austere with a impressive carved wooden alterpiece. Worth dropping by. Question: In the alterpiece, why are Mary and baby Jesus stood on a giant, fallen head? Question: Why is the creepy man reaching through the headboard of a bed where 3 women are sleeping?
