My new go-to spot in Coburg. The pasta is fantastic and plenty of meat options for each dish. The salad dressing is so flavorful it's a must try. Got a medium rare steak and it came out perfectly!

Surprisingly Excellent First Visit! We visited Der Spießer in Coburg for the first time based on several recommendations – and we were truly positively surprised. The food was absolutely delicious and clearly exceeded our expectations. The overall atmosphere was pleasant, and what really stood out was the staff: super friendly and genuinely attentive throughout the entire evening. One small point of improvement – and this is just a detail: when serving drinks, it’s best not to touch the glasses at the rim. Other than that, everything was spot on. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a real gem! Incredible service from a very friendly, multi-lingual staff. Excellent suggestions on accompanying sides. The food is delicious and the drinks are well done and served fast. You would be wrong to miss an opportunity to dine here.
