Novotel Köln City

Great breakfast (buffet), friendly staff, clean rooms and corridors/passages, and decent AC 👌. Disappointing however, that we could not get connecting rooms (family of 6), inspite of payment in advance and several calls to the hotel long before arrival. It was very inconveniencing to walk in the corridor between rooms. There was also no pressing iron available, thank God it was not a business trip, so we wore t-shirts most of the time 😉.

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Cologne and Phantasialand, the hotel was perfectly located for both, with an easy 30 mins walk into the old town. The family room was a great size and even had a little fridge, which was handy in the hot weather. Still and sparkling water was provided free of charge in the lobby and the air-con was a welcome addition in the heat. We also ate here one night, the food was excellent and good value. All staff were brilliant and attentive, the rooms were clean and well looked after, highly recommended.

Loved our stay! Lovely staff that helped us with a connecting room. We are a family of 5 with 3 young children and the connecting room was great. Location was perfect. We were able to walk to the places we wanted to go. Thank you
