The atmosphere in the hostel is great. It feels warm and homely. The staff is wonderful and there are lots of activities both inside and outside the hostel. The rooms are a bit lacking as there are no curtains on the beds, the toilets are outside the rooms and there is only one drawer under the bed for personal belongings. Truly worth the money

Had a fantastic 5-day stay at EastSeven Berlin and couldn't recommend it more, especially for solo travellers. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always up for a chat. Check-in was smooth, instructions were clear, and everything was well organised. The beds, linen, bathrooms, and common areas were kept very clean throughout my stay. My only minor suggestion would be a couple more toilets, but it was never a major issue and I always managed fine. What really sets this hostel apart is how easy they make it to meet people. They organise social events every evening, including drinking games, social drinks, family dinners, and trips to beer gardens. As a solo traveller, this made it effortless to connect with others and made the whole experience much more enjoyable. The staff also provide daily recommendations for things happening around Berlin, including nightlife and club suggestions, which was a great touch. There's also an in-house laundry service, which is really convenient for longer stays. I would absolutely stay here again.

A friend of mine recommended this hostel to my husband and I for the last stop in our two week European vacation. We only stayed for three nights, but I wish we could have stayed for longer. I can easily picture myself staying here again. First and foremost, the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable - especially Georgia. All of our questions about the local area were answered thoroughly and thoughtfully. The amenities were very nice as well: shared kitchen, patio, lounge room, cold water fountain, and laundry (the latter for an additional fee). The shared washrooms were clean and stocked with plenty of soaps, but there was nothing provided to dry your hands so we had to bring our towels with us each time. The private room itself was very comfortable and spacious. Extra fans were provided for the heat and were much needed. The bean bag chair in the corner and the rainbow ceiling light were fun touches. Staying as a couple, we did not make full use of the hostel amenities/community at EastSeven (there is a reoccurring event/outing for each day of the week) but it seems like an excellent opportunity to connect with other travellers. Finally, the WhatsApp group an

I stayed with a friend in one of the private rooms here and we were both very impressed! The employees are super friendly and helpful. All the bathrooms were really clean for our whole stay, probably the cleanest of any hostel I’ve stayed in. The kitchen was well stocked, they had basic spices to share, plus a basic free breakfast in the mornings! The breakfast is just coffee and cornflakes, but for free you definitely can’t complain. Their outdoor seating area is pretty spacious and covered for rainy days. And even though I was there with a friend already, we participated in a couple of the nightly hostel activities and had a lot of fun! There’s an UBahn station, grocery store, and a drug store just a couple minutes walk away, so the location is also fantastic. The only reason I’m giving this place four stars is that sound really carries down the hallways :( All the doors slam pretty loudly if you don’t catch them and there’s basically zero sound proofing inside the rooms. So you could hear everyone coming back from parties or clubs at full volume. I’m a fairly heavy sleeper so I was woken up maybe 2 or 3 times in the night from noise over the 5 nights we stayed. However, I was t

I had a great time staying here! It was my first time travelling alone and I was a bit nervous, so I decided to book a solo room on the fourth floor for some extra quiet. I was here alone but my room had a double bed and another single bed, which is more than I expected. The room itself was big and all the electrical sockets worked, even though some of them were a bit wonky. There WAS a bit of an odd smell in my room, which I blame the oil diffusser for (very fancy though), but when I was in my room for like two minutes I couldn't smell it anymore so it was fine. I bet something could have been done about it but it honestly didn't bother me enough to ask about it lol. Loved the big window because I love waking up to natural light. If you don't, definitely bring an eye mask, but that speaks for itself while travelling. ;) The bed was nice, the mattress thinner than I'm used to at home but I slept very well! Online I couldn't find anything about the way the rooms were locked but the room had a nice key card system that always worked well. The bathroom was really nice. On the fourth floor at least there is a shower stall that you can close to get dressed in, and then you can hop int
