The waiter refused to serve me because I was sitting with my son at playground and the rules are that they don’t serve at self service tables. This was the timeline: - Tried to get self service food at 17:00 on a wednesday. It was closed. Opened after 30 min, they only had sausages. - Went to the waiter, explained to him nicely that we would prefer to eat Wiener Schnitzel (only available in the "a la carte menu") not, Sausages - He refused to serve us. Even if I said I will pick it up myself from the restaurant, no possibility to eat anything else than Sausages even if we were sitting basically 5 meters from the tables "a la carte". You basically refuse to serve customers in a rude way - because also the waiter was not friendly. What if someone comes for "take away", what is the difference if someone comes for "take away" and eating at the self service tables. Why do you refuse to serve ANYTHING from the restaurant even if the person wants to pick it up himself? Your problem is that you have too many customers and you never heard about a customer oriented service and can afford to be rude with some of your customers with no consequence.

Despite being close to a popular museum, this place had the local vibe and was not designed to scam tourists. On the contrary, the staff was very attentive and kind, efficient and responsive. The place had also clean and proper toilets. The food was maybe not the very best ever eaten in Germany but definitely good. Finally, the final bill was more than appropriate!

GLUTEN FREE FRIENDLY!! They have an exclusive GF menu and beer and pretzels!! It’s a very busy place, so service was a little slow at the beginning, but very hospitable. German food isn’t wonderful to begin with, but it hit the spot. What was the worst thing was the many smokers!!

Really excited by the gluten free options (beer, schnitzel, pretzel, etc). The schnitzel was good but the real star of the show was the GF pretzel!! 10/10. No parking which was challenging on a busy and rainy afternoon. Service was slow. Overall good food especially if looking for GF options!

We came in during a cold and rainy day, to be seated in a warm restaurant with great music and smiling, helpful service. I had found the restaurant upon a suggestion because they serve gluten free items including a pretzel, amongst other items. What a great surprise a I must eat gluten free. While the restaurant normally has a seperate gluten free menu, it is not available during Oktoberfest. However, the server gladly pointed out the items they have available, (as well as the menu noting allergens). The food was excellent, both my gluten free items as well as my husband's "normal" menu items. To be honest, he actually liked my gluten free dumplings more than the others he has had , (due to the texture). That is really unheard of! Service was friendly, atmosphere was great, and the food was excellent. Typical German dishes, and a GREAT gluten free selection.
