It was a quite a treat that our European Beer and Christmas Market tour (from US) booked an tour for us to visit this world renowned malt house that may not be the biggest in the world but one of the famous beers malt manufacturers! I love how their gift shop was setup for the Christmas season and you can find all types of beer they brewed in small Qty for the season! Mika gave us a hour and half of the tour, she was very knowledgeable and very friendly and funny, she made the facility tour very interesting and informative! She is wonderful! I tasted and bought a bottle or their seasonal whisky “special Eight” which was very smooth and tasteful! This visit and the tour is one of the highlights in Bamberg!

The huge Weyermann Malt Factory also has its own beer and whiskey shop. The most enjoyable whiskey buying experience of my life. The lady in the store was very nice, she even offered samples to try before buying. The whole experience was very pleasant. A must see in Bamberg.

Had an excellent tour run by Alirio, and some exceptional beers afterwards. Highly recommend!

Awesome brewery! Good beers selection. Every Saturday they offer an open bottle for every guest where you can try their beer.
