I came to the emergency room recently due to a severe gastrointestinal illness. (Fainting, losing fluids and unable to eat or drink) since I am pregnant I had to first come to the kreißsaal where I was greeted by perhaps the rudest nurse I have ever in my life interacted with. 1. She immediately blamed me traveling in causing the illness without even asking for specifics. And she did this in such a rude way it was clear she was trying to make me feel like a bad person for traveling. Well it turned out that I got a horrible case of Ecoli with shiga toxin IN BERLIN before I travelled. Hence why I was sick the entire time I was away. I took the highest food precautions when traveling- no undercooked meat, and no produce or salads, and no tap water. I also was consistently spraying with strong mosquito spray. Everybody I was with got bites but not me because I was so careful. 2. She talked to me in a nasty way. I am 23 weeks pregnant and she was being aggressive to me saying “well what are we supposed to do for you” I am of course like I don’t know, I literally just have to be here. i was sent here by the emergency room. Recently, my child was born in this hospital. All the staff during our stay, whether in the kreißsaal or the postpartum ward, were very supportive and friendly. Both my wife and I had a very good birthing experience at this hospital. I would highly recommend it.

I had a good time delivering my baby here at the beginning of December. The medical staff, midwives, doctors, were all very professional and kind, especially the midwife Marta. They met my needs, supported me in labour and delivery, which was fortunately quick. I was delighted and I recommend this clinic for giving birth!

I gave birth two times here - both times were without big complication. Midwifes were helpful, caring, friendly and with great knowledge. Most of all - I felt safe there :) Kreißsaal was bright, clean and quite modern. I had good experience.

I gave birth to my first baby almost to weeks ago and I had the best experience. Midwives were kind and caring, the doctor helped in the last hours of delivery and she was so good and guiding me through the pain and motivating me. I gave birth in the night and they set the light in the room so that I feel cozy and comfortable. The midwives spoke with me throughout the whole process, always explaining me what’s going on. Everyone spoke English. My partner was being treated well too, during the birth and during the visits the days after. I felt being taken care of during my whole stay at the hospital and we could apply for the baby‘s birth certificate in the hospital directly. I will definitely choose the same hospital if there‘ll be a second baby.

I had a great experience giving birth a Vivantes Friedrishchain. The team was very welcoming at the registration visit and I had a mid-wife and a student mid-wife to attend to my birth. At least one of them was by my side the whole time and provided advices specific to my situation and coach me greatly for the birth of my first child.I felt in good hand and well taken care of. My stay after the birth was also pleasant and a nurse or mid-wife was touring the room every 3 hours to check on the mums and the babies, particularly making sure everything was going well with the breas-feeding. They deserve their "baby friendly" label.

I couldn’t ask for a better outpatient birth experience. The staff were friendly and professional. The birthing rooms were spacious with a private bathroom. The equipment was also noteworthy. They had a wireless CTG - the only one I’ve seen in Berlin. The oversized birthing bed was super helpful. The food was also pretty good. Thanks to the midwives for taking such good care of my growing family!

broad array of choices for brekkie and lunch to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast choices include croissants, yoghurt, oats, fruits, honey etc. For lunch they offer different meats with sauces and sides to chose and also veggie options. Went for the spicy lamb curry with rice for lunch, leafy salad and yoghurt dressing. Includes dessert and also cake for Kaffee und Kuchen time. Can't ask for much more for hospital food. 4 stars only because the dinner is a rather dull brotzeit, like breakfast with less options, cold bread and cheese. Still okay though
