Very warm welcome by the very friendly and funny waitress - who was responsible for us during the stay. Came here after a Schnitzel-Review - so took the Cotoletta alla viennese. The mixed salad is just enough as a starter, with a beautiful house vinaigrette. The Schnitzel i took with the extra truffle. It's one of the 2 best i had in my life. Pure Perfection on the breading and thickness, a straight 10/10. The athmosphere is top, beautiful interior, background music. Just go.

I recently returned to this restaurant after a gap of ten years, and it was fascinating to see both the continuity and subtle changes over time. The ambience remains one of its strongest points—elegant, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxed dining experience. The staff were welcoming and attentive, striking a balance between professionalism and warmth, which made the evening feel special from the moment we arrived. For starters, we opted for Tuna carpacio and it was beautifully presented, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. The main course continued this trend, with well-executed flavors and thoughtful attention to detail. The ingredients were fresh, the seasoning balanced, and the overall presentation impressive, showing that the kitchen maintains its standards even after all these years. Dessert, unfortunately, was a slight disappointment. While it was decent, it lacked the flavour of the main ingredient and over powered by other elements and felt somewhat rushed compared to the care shown in the other dishes. Was searching for a restaurant that’s opened for Christmas/Anniversary celebration and stumbled on this by chance. We were already impressed just by the decor and interior but the highlight was our waiter for the night, Dany. Amazing amazing service!! Super attentive, friendly and truly gave an outstanding service despite the place being full house. Shout out to the chefs as well! Everything we ordered were all deliciously prepared and presentation was 10/10. Starter: Parmigiana di melanzane Zuppa di pomodoro San Marzano Mains: Linguine alla Pescatora Saltimbocca alla romana Dessert: Panna cotta Tiramisu della casa Anniversary cake: Not quite sure but it tasted like pistachio cheesecake, i think, but was so good! We were so stuffed by the end of the night. Thank you Villa Amalfi for giving us a great Christmas/Anniversary experience. We will definitely be back.

Staff were friendly without being intrusive and handled recommendations and requests confidently. The food is solid Italian cuisine with a focus on fresh ingredients and familiar Mediterranean flavors. Dishes were well prepared, nicely presented, and portions were reasonable. Nothing felt rushed or careless. Prices are in line with the quality and the location. Overall, Villa Amalfi is a reliable choice for a relaxed dinner, business meeting, or a quiet evening out in Bogenhausen.

A wonderful experience! My husband and I were looking for a restaurant with a romantic atmosphere and good food for our anniversary, and Bogenhauser Hof exceeded our expectations! Christa was extremely kind and attentive, and provided us with some excellent recommendations. We enjoyed our dinner so much that we have decided to return for lunch for more culinary delights! This place is a must while visiting Munich.
