The spring rolls were great. Definitely homemade, super crunchy. For my taste, not salty enough, but I could have just asked for some soy sauce. Soup was not very good, kinda flavorless. I took it home to add some flavor, then it was okay. Udon with tofu was great. All in all, not a bad place, very quiet, perfect for talking.

Never been there. I might have been hanging out in the area and Google thought i eat there all the time but in all honesty I am too broke to visit a restaurant. But nonetheless based on the smell alone I think this is a great restaurant, lovely atmosphere and great food.

It is a rare day upon which one finds oneself pleasantly surprised, nay, impressed by something that exceeds one's expectations to such a significant degree that it almost shames you for your miserly, uncharitable view of the world. Thankfully, I'm happy to report that, having stumbled into this place half-cut one carnival Saturday, I was delighted to have the opportunity to experience this sensation. "To 1990" is by far the best Vietnamese restaurant in the city of Cologne, not only because of how well it performs by the normal standards with which one judges a restaurant (food, service etc.), but also because it is such a gem, tucked away mere minutes from the epicentre of Ehrenfeld. One expects flavoursome, well-made food in a soulless city centre restaurant that charges above average prices. However, to find an even better quality of fare in a restaurant that looks relatively humble from the exterior is truly exceptional. Inside the restaurant you will find a tasteful, traditional Vietnamese aesthetic with ample space to relax and chat with companions. The atmosphere is cosy and unpretentious. Great food, portions are big 👌, nice atmosphere, and kind staff. Will always subtract a star if they don’t accept card. It’s a new restaurant, and hope they eventually include this form of payment.
