Really nice, cozy location. Tasty cupcakes with lots of different, creative flavours. They were really good but not fantastic. I loved the malted chocolate drink with ice cream. Never tried it before and it gave the drink another dimension which was delicious. It should've been colder though! Tasty and refreshing lemonade.

I was needing a sweet treat and popped in here. Really loved the cake pops and mini cupcakes! The flavours were complex and you can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into it. The cashier was super friendly too, let me take my time with ordering and had a really nice conversation. It was lovely to be able to sit down and enjoy the view too, the seating was comfy and I had plenty of space at my table.

This is my second visit. The cupcakes are good. Not all of them are to my liking but it is personal preference mostly. Interesting option to choose from. Unfortunately it will be my last visit in this location. Their staff member was very unhappy working that day apparently. We entered the shop and asked if we can use one of the tables because it was full of cups and plates with the idea to clean it ourselves. He did not answer and went to clean it himself very angrily and while putting away the dishes in the kitchen I am pretty sure he cursed us in Russian. I couldn’t hear clearly and decided to leave it and not confront him. Same angry service continued not only with us but with almost all customers after us. Yes, he did his job or more like the bare minimum. The only faint smile was for Russian speaking customer, with whom he spoke in Russian. Don’t be fooled. He was not polite with her too. Maybe he had a bad day but we are not responsible for his misfortune. I felt very unwelcome there. My previous visit years ago was pleasant and really wanted to visit this place again. Well…the joke is on me.

We discovered it by chance while walking along the renovated medieval streets near the DDR Museum in central Berlin. A friendly staff member welcomed us and explained that it’s famous for its French macarons. We tried a few, paired with a drink, and everything was fresh and delicious. Perfect for a quick snack. Highly recommended.

We passed by this place just as they were closing up for the evening, and even though the lights were already off, the display window still caught our eye. Something about it pulled us in, so we popped inside to ask if we could still get something to go. To our delight, we were warmly welcomed – no problem at all. Side note: the service here is consistently fantastic. We went for a box of six and didn’t regret it. A beautiful mix of indulgent cupcakes – from espresso martini and caramel to dark chocolate and peanut butter – plus a fantastic little sponge cake, made it a delight from the first bite to the last. Each piece felt thoughtfully crafted and well-balanced. We actually came back the very next day during our short Berlin stay to try more – including some of the macarons and other temptations from the display. The price-performance ratio is absolutely on point. For Berlin, and especially for this level of quality, it’s a total win. By the time we picked up our second box, the place was packed with a lively, diverse crowd – and rightfully so. Tigertörtchen has earned a permanent spot on our Berlin food map.
