We went to visit the school to get some information about doing a German course. We were welcomed with open arms and all queries were answered immediately. We are sure to return. Thank you!

I studied at Tandem Cologne for about six months, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The teachers were highly supportive and helped me significantly improve my German skills. Beyond that, the school created a very welcoming environment where I was able to make great friends, and they even supported me with practical matters like finding accommodation. I felt very well taken care of throughout my time there. I am extremely satisfied and would highly recommend Tandem to anyone looking to learn German in a supportive and friendly setting.

I participated in some German courses during some months of summer of 2024. I did love the many friends that I made during that period and could improve my skills a lot. I do have to say though that I could see a very strong difference in the relationship I had with both teachers and the administrative staff depending on their age, while younger instructors had a more open mind, the older ones showed a bit of a „condescending“ behaviour, hence why I took 2 stars out.

I am very grateful to the administrative team at Tandem, especially to Birgit, who provided tremendous support during my visa application and waiting period. Before my arrival, she helped me find a host family, which made my transition much smoother. The entire administrative office has been highly professional and efficient in handling course arrangements, cultural programs, and resolving any issues along the way. Thank you for making my start in Germany so much easier! I would also like to sincerely thank Sebastian for his outstanding teaching! His lessons are incredibly clear, logical, and engaging. As a beginner, I was feeling completely lost at first, but his structured and lively way of explaining things helped me quickly find direction. Every class was inspiring and enjoyable — I didn’t want to miss a single session! I truly hope to have the chance to join his classes again in the future. Absolutely five stars!

I must say that the summer intensive course has perfectly fullfilled my expectations. During the month, we had a chance to meet 4 different teachers (Verena, Leslie, Aurelie, Tomas) and they were all amazing teachers! 👏🏻 They were all always perfectly prepared, easily and clearly explained the grammar. Also, what I appreciated very much were many different teaching techniques. We practised all aspects (speaking, reading, writing, listening). Also, the staff in the office is very nice. The school has a great location. The only thing I didn’t like was not being able to change the group even though I asked for it twice. But the overall experience was amazing. Thank you! 🌟
