SIXT Autovermietung München Messestadt Riem

Use Sixt if you want to have a bad time. They will accept your booking, then at the last minute change the car you booked without telling you. Seriously, don’t waste your time here. Don’t expect the in-store staff to be of any help either. The phone helpline staff is even worse, they will straight up give you wrong information, which is fantastic if you want to add even more delays, stress, and headache to your vacation :)

Sixt Riem Arcaden was very helpful with helping me getting the key code for the car collection at Sixt Trudering

Extremely disappointing experience at this branch. Only one employee was working, leading to chaos and over an hour of waiting. Completely inefficient organisation and no apology or goodwill offered. I will avoid Sixt in future and recommend others do the same.

It is simply not possible to rent a car in this branch without running into problems. The incompetence is honestly shocking and the only reason the shop has a good rating is thanks to the admittedly friendly staff. A collection of issues to give you an impression of what adventures might await you here: - Guaranteed car is not available - Car's tank is not filled - Repayment for filling up the tank to full is not happening - Nobody is in the store during opening hours - Staff A promises service that staff B simply does not fulfill - Staff cannot find the keys If you have time and want a rage story to tell your friends, visit this place. If you actually rely on getting a car, I suggest taking public transport and renting somewhere else.

I rented a car twice here and both I had the worst experience ever. 1. car was not ready (no tank and no cleaning). They told me to fill up the car and send a receipt. for 1 months, they are not compensate the refuel fee yet. 2. I booked a car for early pickup. Online checkin didn't work. A day before, I visited the agency to make sure. He promised I will get a car in the morning b/w 7-7:30. And now I am waiting for 1h in front of the shop. Do not promise anything they say here. Get what you signed as it is. They don't keep their words.
