Nice location in the city but the camping itself was more like a parkinglot. It was quite pricy for the quality of the camping. The showers and toilets were clean and new but they are building a lot on the camping and started at 07.00 with drilling and loud music. Would not go back.

They were refurbished the Camp ground. The ablutions are neat and modern, but was a very long walk from our campsite. Was also more expensive than expected.

Firstly - great location, there is a lime bike drop off point up the road which we used to get into the city. Downsides, the campground is currently under construction and a little bit noisey, but easy enough to deal with. The biggest downside is the campground holds your passport or drivers license when they give you the window tag - which they are not allowed to do. They then don’t start work until 10am, so if you want an earlier check out you cannot until the office opens. For the price of the camping ground we found this service poor and it held up our day.

My friends and I loved staying at Munich Central! Everything we needed was provided in quality, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Plus, free breakfast and charging! There were even an ATM and a shop for drindl and lederhosen by the main tent, and a nearby after party with a DJ. Would definitely recommend staying here, the value was unbelievable!

Easy budget option in Munich for those looking to save on a hostel. The camp attracts a young crowd and the staff were great. Basic tent set up etc but all the facilities were clean and it is on a really nice campground. Easy to get into town via public transport too.

Avoid at all costs. Or try one night but no more than one. Read detailed reviews. 🥶 We went in September. At night, it was extremely cold. Also raining. ☔️ I could not “sleep” for more than 40 minutes without waking up due to the cold. The term “short naps” seems more appropriate for the overnight experience. (Yes, we had brought our own personal blankets and pillows, because they don’t put anything inside the tents.) ⛺️ The tent is small. Smaller than a “capsule hostel”. And it’s for 2 persons. If you are a solo traveler there, my advice is to get an entire tent for yourself. Otherwise, being confined next to a stranger will be awkward and uncomfortable to say the least. 🔐 Not safe to store your belongings. It’s not possible to lock the tent, so anyone could enter without a key, at anytime. 🛁 Bathrooms felt too gross to use. Mud was all over the floors (do wear sneakers 👟). We heard other guests complaining about the absence of toilet paper that day. Absolute nightmare. 🥣 Breakfast, as expected, won’t be a real meal. You get exactly what you pay for. Staff was really cool and tents are small but adequate. Free breakfast is good. Bathrooms aren’t the best but fine. €2.75 for hot showers but cold are free. Great for the price, had a great time.

Was passing in Munich for Octoberfest and it was the cheapest option for sleeping in town. I had a nice place to put my own tent, but they did provide every thing (sleeping bag, pad and tent). The staff was super nice and easy going, great vibe if you don’t want to much crazy stuff happening around your personal space. They still had partying happening every night if you are looking for it. In the middle of a nice park, with people surfing, easy to get in town with bus/walk to get the subway. Overall great place, still noisy until late in the night, but what do you except from a campsite full of drunk people 🙃
