The hotel room was very small and was not cleaned properly. After staying for just one night, I woke up with multiple bug bites on my neck and body, which was extremely unpleasant. The bathroom and bathtub were also very cramped and looked old and worn out. On the positive side, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout my stay, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices. However, due to the poor cleanliness, the condition of the room, and the bug bites, I would not consider staying at this hotel again.

AVOID IF YOU VALUE COMFORT: Hostel quality at Marriot price. On the second morning of our stay, we were awakened by a maintenance technician entering our room unannounced. This was not preventable, as there are no security bars on doors! When sharing concerns, we were consistently spoken down to and gaslit by hotel staff; particularly a woman with blonde hair who works the morning - afternoon shift. This stay confirmed the company is prioritizing profit over guest experience, and no longer has my support (not that they’ll care). Despite advertised air conditioning, it was “not turned on for the summer” as of April 18, 2026. The temperature outside was consistently much cooler than anywhere inside the hotel. Yes, I’m American. The three people at the front desk complaining about the temperature, bed quality, and limitation to one thin pillow when we arrived were all European. Marriot customer service guaranteed us three things when we called with questions before booking: the windows open fully to allow air to circulate, air conditioning goes as low as 16 Celsius, and the front desk has fans available, if needed. Whether this was incompetence or a blatant lie, I’m not sure, as

The hotel is an affordable and convenient option when you need to stay near the Munich conference center, or any of the companies in the area. Atmosphere in the hotel is good. Lounge has some cozy spots where you can work or relax. Rooms are basic with a small bathroom, lacking some space for a longer stay and lacking the room and furniture to work. No desk or chair. Bed is nothing more than ok, pillows a bit small and thin for my liking. Airconditioning and heater work well making it easy to get the right temperature. Breakfast is basic without missing anything. Can be a bit crowded when all guest choose the same time to have breakfast. Dinner options other than snacks are not available, and with the location in a business area with offices the number of restaurants is very limited. A walk to the S-bahn (~8 min) and a train to the Munich city center (~15 min) is the better option to find a proper meal. Would have given 3 stars for the whole package, but the affordable price tips the scale, so still recommend this hotel.
