Delicious beer, nice staff and authentic atmosphere. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about the food… My Hercules burger tasted super bad. The meat was so dry, “tasted like plastic” and the texture was super weird. I was only able to eat half of it, and I really had to force it… The Steak was ok, but over priced. Based on my experience, I definitely don’t recommend the food. However, the Odin Trunk beer was very delicious. Edit after the restaurant’s response: a simple “we are sorry” or “we hope that next time you’ll have a better experience” would have been enough. You asked me a question in the end, and I hostly replied saying that I didn’t like it. Asking for remaking the dish is not only a waste of food and bad for the environment, but also bad for the business. I prefer not asking for another one and give a feedback in the end than wasting food - that’s my choice and it should be respected. What I don’t appreciate is that now you are trying to blame me. When you say that you have said the same to many before it just shows a pattern and reinforce that what needs to be changed is not customers asking to remake the dish, but the establishment worrying about making a dish that

Exceptional atmosphere. Good food. Would recommend beef burgers but chicken burger is meh in my opinion. Garlic sauce is amazing paired with fries.

LOVED this place! We came here to celebrate our anniversary and really enjoyed it. The staff were so lovely (shout out to Sir Thomas!) and the food was delicious especially the steak. Everyone kept in character and some other guests/diners came dressed in costume for dinner! Honestly, worth a visit. Make sure you book a table before.

We went there on a Sunday afternoon, we had no reservation. The waiter was really amazing, they speak very good English. Beware that the menu is in German but if you cannot find your way, they can help with suggestions. Food arrived really quickly and it was nothing but perfection! Totally recommend it.

Such a great meal food, atmosphere, staff! All incredible. We started with some lovely dragon egg and perfect garlic bread followed by cooked just as requested steak with a lovely herb butter. The portion sizes were generous for the prices, so absolutely no complaints. The staff were awesome regularly doing fun interactions that I won't spoil here just something to experience, the atmosphere was so fun great folksy music and celebrations from all. We visited as a couple knowing very little German so spoke in English with no issues. Would return regularly if lived in Cologne. Highly recommend a visit!
