I recently purchased my VW T-Roc through Instamotion, and overall, it was a very decent and comfortable buying experience. The Pros: Flawless Condition: The car arrived exactly as described, without a single scratch on it. Seamless Online Process: The documentation and registration process is fantastic. Everything can be handled online from home, requiring just one quick visit to the post office for a quick verification check since I financed the car through Openbank/Santander. Punctual Delivery: The vehicle was delivered within the overall promised timelines. The Cons: No Self-Collection Option: The dealer holding the car was only about 250 km away from me here in Berlin. I would have gladly driven there, picked it up myself, and driven back to save the €499 overhead fee. Delivery Day Communication: Instamotion uses a third-party service (Onlogist) for delivery, and the information dispersal on the actual day was poor. The driver was changed three times with minimal updates on the exact arrival time. Being given a massive window from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM simply does not work well for professionals who need to schedule meetings and manage a workday while waiting. Overall, a

The original company collapsed, and the new one is essentially refusing to honour the old contracts. Customers are left dealing with lawyers and a bank they never even chose. The absurd part? The new Instamotion says “not our problem”, the bank says “not our problem”, and the customer is the one who gets screwed, because apparently in Germany is totally legal. The fact that they can continue operating under the same brand with zero accountability is honestly shocking. Think very carefully before buying a car from a company that can simply disappear without consequences. I strongly recommend choosing a more established business, unless you’re okay living through the kind of mess I’m in.

Biggest downgrade I ever seen. They revamped their website shiny and attractive and they dropped the browser english translation support. They underestimate the amount of business that non german expats living in Germany could bring in. Well you lost me as a customer the moment you have stopped the support.

Unfortunately the lowest I can rate is 1 star. My experience with Instamotion has been very bad and depressing. Instamotion claims to provide convenience and quality. Let me share my personal experience: Regarding Convenience: I found a good Audi Q5 apparantly and placed an order on 17th of April and cleared the full payment, sent everything to them by 23rd of April. Later I found out that 2-6 weeks promise of delivery is just a word on paper. After several follow-ups over emails, I finally got my car on 17th of June (after two months). They simply said that the process takes time without any transparency of what's causing the delay. Now let's talk about the quality: - The car was driven extra ~7000km than what was advertised and promised (maybe someone was driving the car during two months while I was on the wait) - Air conditioning wasn't working (in hot summer) - Incorrect wheels were installed (wheel specifications wasn't even matching CoC and registration documents of the car) I tried to get to a mitigation of the issues but realised it's gonna take forever and also I lost trust on Instamotion so I cancelled the purchase contract within 14 days period.
