Hotel Schiefes Haus

Excellent rooms and an even better staff. As someone who practically lives out of hotels for work, I can confidently say this team was among the most accommodating I’ve experienced. The rooms were fantastic, and the location couldn’t be better. Highly recommend.

The hotel is charming and authentic, with a lot of character. The room was clean and comfortable, although the furniture is a bit dated. The breakfast was decent, with enough variety, but nothing extraordinary. The location is great, close to all the main attractions in Ulm. Overall, a pleasant stay, especially for those who enjoy a local atmosphere.

Hotel Schiefes Haus is one of Ulm’s most unique landmarks — a charming, crooked half-timbered building that looks straight out of a fairy tale. When I visited, it appeared to be closed, so I couldn’t go inside, but I still took time to marvel at its unusual construction and distinctive leaning design. Even from the outside, it’s fascinating to see how the structure tilts yet remains beautifully preserved. Located right in the heart of the old town, just a short walk from Ulm Minster and the train station, it’s a quirky and memorable sight that perfectly captures the character of Ulm.
