The entire The stay was very good; the network was excellent. Breakfast was flawless, as were the staff and reception. The local area was lovely, and you were only 20 minutes from the train station where the Yuca Club is located. The rooms were nicely furnished, with a comfortable bed, TV, and a private bathroom, which was also very nicely decorated. You also had a wardrobe for storage, plus the added bonus of being able to help yourself to free water at any time. So overall was a amazing experince in the hotel and cologne in general.

It is a good hotel for short trips, and with the prices they offer, it is efficient. The street where the hotel is located doesn’t have much activity, but within just a 10-minute walk, you can reach the Ehrenfeld area, which is very lively, with multicultural restaurants and bars. Right now (October 2025), there is construction around the hotel — it’s noisy from 8 in the morning onward. Just in case you are planning to stay in the room the whole day.

We were very pleased with our short stay at Hotel Regina. New owners have taken over in early 2023 so I can’t comment on previous reviews but our own experience was very positive. All staff we interacted with were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are not large but they are large enough and the bed was very comfortable indeed. Our room was at the front of the hotel and there was a little road noise if the window was open but when closed, it was very acceptable. A simple continental breakfast (cooked meat, cheeses, bread, fruit and coffee) was served from 7 through to 10 each day. The new owners seem to genuinely care about their guests and we wish them well for their future.
