Hirsch Hotel-Restaurant

The hotel is comfortable, and the room we stayed in seemed to have been recently refurbished. The staff at the hotel was fine to deal with, and the parking on site is convenient. The restaurant impressed us more than the hotel itself. The food was great at dinner, and the atmosphere felt very authentic. You could tell they pride themselves on fresh, local ingredients. The servers were very friendly and attentive. The hotel breakfast is also served in the restaurant and was excellent as well.

A big plus for accepting pets. The room we were accommodated in seemed quite small to me but the place is clean and well maintained. I would suggest paying more attention to the shower cabin, the doors do not close properly and water leaks all over the bathroom.

It was a very pleasant stay, we could relax and enjoyed the food and ambiance. However at a check out we heard a very unpleasant comment from a receptionist, who dealt with our stay. We were charged for double breakfast, even if my husband did not have one. The receptionist the night before assured us that we are charged only for the persons who attend the breakfast. Misleading and controversial. A very bitter ending of what was a great stay. I think people at the reception need to receive a better training on communicating with the customers.
