We had a wonderful stay at Hampton by Hilton Munich City North. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The hotel was very clean, the room was comfortable and quiet, and everything was well maintained. Breakfast offered a good variety of fresh and delicious options, making it a great start to each day. The location is also convenient, with easy access to public transportation, making it simple to explore Munich. Our family (two adults and one child) felt very comfortable throughout our stay. After our experience in Munich, we truly appreciated the warm hospitality and professional service provided by the team. Thank you for making our trip even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Munich.

The accommodations provided were more compact than our previous booking with uncomfortable beds. Our most significant concern stemmed from an interaction with a young restaurant manager, whose demeanor suggested a lack of professional guest relations training, particularly regarding his assertion that pre-paid breakfast arrangements did not supersede his directives. Furthermore, his comment implying that our Croatian nationality was explanatory for his behavior was highly inappropriate. We believe this individual lacks the requisite education and experience for a managerial role. Conversely, we commend the young woman in the kitchen for her exceptional diligence and efficiency in managing her responsibilities. In summary, I am unable to recommend this hotel, despite my best efforts. Had the experience mirrored that of two years prior, it would undoubtedly warrant a five-star rating.

AVOID - Verbally abusive staff. We checked out less than 45 minutes after checking in. Air conditioning not functioning as of April 19, 2026. Room was 30 degrees Celsius (86 Fahrenheit) on a 19 degree (66 F) day, and the air conditioning was unable to lower that be even .5 degrees in 30 minutes In 20 minutes, the air conditioning was unable to lower room temp by even .5 degrees. A sheet of toilet tissue held ~ 6 inches in front of the air conditioning vent did not move, as only a small amount of air was emitted - nowhere near enough to cool even a small room. A “technician” was sent up, who did nothing more that confirm the temperature of the vent grate was 17 - 18 degrees Celsius. He confirmed the AC fan was set to maximum, and the 18 degree vent temperature was all he cared about. When I demonstrated with a sheet of paper no real airflow was being emitted, he simply started screaming at me in German and left. When riding down in the elevator with my wife, he continued to laugh at and mock her in German. As they were the only two people on the elevator, this can only be taken at face value: condescending and mean-spirited. Front desk staff offered no resolution, apology, or
