We visited Hai Seafood Izakaya as a group yesterday, and what should have been a nice evening with friends turned into a medical emergency. Before ordering, we clearly informed the staff that one member of our group has a severe peanut allergy. We explained that this was not a mild intolerance but a serious allergy where even small traces could trigger a severe reaction. Despite this, our friend suffered a severe allergic reaction and had to be rushed to the emergency room. Thankfully, he is now recovering, but it was a really scary experience. What shocked us was how the restaurant handled the situation. We expected genuine concern for our friend’s wellbeing, a sincere apology, and an effort to understand how such a serious incident could have happened after the staff had been explicitly informed about the allergy. Instead, the response felt indifferent. No one appeared to appreciate the seriousness of what had happened. To make matters worse, the restaurant did not proactively offer any gesture of goodwill or a sincere apology. very fun and stylish place - as Süddeutsche Zeitung points out the japanese foods beats anything fusion by miles - but prices are seriously high - the "big" sashimi platter for 42 Euros is 12 very small pieces - good fish - but come one! Service team very friendly but overworked and not that professional. So was fun to be there and get to know the place - but will not be back.

Went to eat a Seafood Boil and was surprised by how amazing this is! We shared a Seafood Boil for 2 people and the size was just perfect, it was hot and the sauce matched the seafood perfectly! Would definitely recommend this Restaurant to everyone!

Reserved a table at 17:30. Staffs are accommodating and friendly. Place is cozy. We ordered Pan Fried Karaage for appetizer, it was really juicy. Our main is the Seafood boil with Tom Yum Sauce, so perfect for my taste and rainy weather. It is rich with ingredients, ate it with rice and glass noodles. The Cheesecake Pistachio is to try, interesting taste. ❤️

Top service! Fresh seafood! Prime Oysters and Prawn, bamboo shorts fit with spirits. Very nice and comfortable environment helps people relaxing and forget stress of work. It's especially suitable for gatherings with friends. Parking is always difficult in the downtown but there’s 2 modern parkinglots besides with 3€/hour. Best seafood bar in Munich.
