Very disappointing experience – avoid! I visited this gelato shop with my wife, excited to try some flavours. We each tried one flavour and immediately noticed it was far too sugary. Wanting to give it another chance, I asked to try a different flavour before making a final choice – as is completely normal in many gelato places To my surprise, the staff member flatly refused, saying, "One taste only." We were both shocked by how unwelcoming and rigid this attitude was. My wife then tried to ask about another flavour, and instead of offering a taste or being helpful, the staff just replied , "It’s very nice," without any effort to assist. This kind of service is unacceptable for a place We ended up leaving without buying anything. I strongly recommend avoiding this shop – there are plenty of better places with good gelato and friendly, respectful service. I will go to ZERO STAR if there was!!

Feel free to visit if you enjoy your ice cream with a side serving of racism. People saying in the other comments about the staff (or maybe the dude owns the shop? idk) displaying racially discriminative behaviour are correct. Racial discrimination across two years; against customers of Arabic descent in one year (see comments), and against asians in another year, yet somehow this shop is still standing in a city like Cologne that claims to be multicultural and accepting. Incredible stuff really. My friends and I were told very rudely by the staff to give up our seats, even though we were not all done with our ice cream. This was despite the fact that there was another group of 5 customers on another table only having a single cup of coffee amongst themselves. The only differences I could see were that: 1. We bought 8 scoops of ice cream in total; they had 1 cup of coffee amongst 5 people, and 2. they were German, and we were not. I was upset by this treatment and went into the shop demanding an explanation for the discrimination. Female staff’s best explanation was that we were “selected at random”. The reputation of Germany was ruined because the people working at this ice-cream shops are totally racist. They were very rude and scolded us out of their place because we were from another ethnic.

Terrible experience. We were a group of 4 expats from Asia and another country in Europe, and while we were enjoying our ice-cream and conversation, suddenly an older staff with long hair walked up to us and kicked us out of the place knowing we still have not finished our ice-scream. He, out of the blue came up and said in German, "Please leave, we need to give the table to other customers, have a good night" while another table next to us was full of 6 men around 1 tiny cup of coffee talking so loudly. We had no idea why he would come up to us specifically while we all ordered two scoops of ice-cream, and we did not talk loud at all. We were only normal customers enjoying some breeze at his ice-cream shop. The staff here was so aggressive to us and there was no other reason we could think off aside from racism. We almost wanted to call the police for how they treated us. It's up to you if you want to support this type of behavior.

À good quality ice cream but one of staff ( older one) was very rude when he found that we didn’t speak German, he refused to try to communicate with us and I suspect that because our group was multi ethnic, so never again.
