I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Worst experience ever. We went in there, there were 3 guys that were doing absolutely NOTHING and the one guy that we went to, told us that he needs to finish something on his computer and then we can discuss. Okay, no problem. He was completely uninterested and had no willing to work. We told him what car we would like to rent and that it was just for one day, he searched, told us the price, and then asked for documents. Very important to mention that we are from Romania. He “scanned” the driver’s license and kept doing that, then he called someone and from my little understanding of german, he told that person our nationality and he seemed very pissed. After he eneded the call, he told us that the document can’t be read by the system and we can not rent the car. This was racism at its finest. They simply did not want to give us the car just because we were from Romania. We told him that we have rented many cars in other countries and did not encounter this issue anywhere. At the end, he told us with a smile on his face that “yeah, I know, but there is nothing that I can do”. So, do not go in there!!!

Best experience I’ve ever had with rental cars services. Huge thanks to the team, everybody is very helpful, and friendly, and attentive.

Very disappointing. Got downgraded to a car showing on average £150/week cheaper without even an apology, let alone any offer of any refund. Then on receiving invoice at end of trip discovered i had been illegally charged €44 extra for navigation system. this was not listed on my pre-paid bill, rental agreement or mentioned at pick up, and was a built in part of the car like most modern cars, not an extra, external item. Europcar are normally better than this, but here they have acted completely like cowboys.

Professionals DO NOT GO THERE. They only have old defective cars available even when you book a premium guaranteed model and you’re level 3 on their loyalty program. It’s basically a car rental agency without a single car available. They do not care about their clients and you’ll loose so much of your time. First time I get a bad experience with Europcar

Excellent experience from start to finish, with customer service at its core. I'd highly recommend using them over SIXT, StarCar and others, especially if you're looking for a premium+ vehicle. Thanks for helping to make my dream road trip a reality and my first trip to Germany a perfect stay! Vielen Dank! I'll definitely choose Europcar again, whenever returning to Germany and/or selecting a car to rent abroad!
