Another huge place with spires reaching up to heaven! Lots of artwork inside & out. Best part for me was not a lot of noise & padded pews. Just what I needed for a quick catch up nap. If you look at my 4th Photo this was purchased in a cafe across the square, the tallest ice cream Sunday I've ever takled.

Really pretty church. The best is the 15 minutes meditation at 12:00 to recharge for the rest of the day. The church closes at 11:45 for this meditation and reopens afterwards.

Cathedral worth visiting to admire the architecture and stained glass designs. Attend mass to hear the sound of the pipe organ sweeping the whole church.

Very massive and impressive edifice in the heart of Regensburg. As I entered while the prayers were going on, it was truly a serene feeling. It is a truly old structure with lot of sculpture like works. While I visited there is renovation work going on.

We arrived too late to go inside, but even from the outside, St. Peter Cathedral is absolutely stunning. The gothic architecture is impressive and full of detail—it really stands out in the heart of Regensburg. There was some construction during our visit, but it didn’t take away from the experience. We’d love to come back earlier next time to explore the inside!

The cathedral is truly impressive! A magnificent structure that’s hundreds of years old. I can’t even say whether I liked it more from the outside or the inside. Every day in summer, the organ plays at noon, it’s absolutely amazing! An architectural masterpiece that definitely deserves attention. The only downside is that the exterior has been under renovation for many years.

Massive pure Gernan gothic church that was built from the end of the 13th to the beginning of the 16th century using the architecture of French cathedrals as an example. The inside is dark and has beautiful details like the silver altar. The stained glass windows from the 13th and 14th century are impressive and the most extensive, still preserved, collection of medieval stained glass in the German-speaking world. An interesting detail was a large waterwell with a hoist and bucket inside the church which was used as a secure source of water for the clergy, cathedral staff and cleaning.
