Deutsch mit Marija

I would like to wholeheartedly recommend 'Deutsch mit Marija' to those who are serious about learning German and want to have fun while learning the language. Many have found Marija through her YouTube channel. It was also the case with me. It's still one of the best channels for learning German at an intermediate to advanced level. Over the years Marija's passion at teaching German has led her to develop some of the best German courses that I've found (I believe at B1-C2 levels). I have done B2 course with Marija quite some time ago, and then the C1 Course with Guarantee (a course which I've passed, and towards which Marija and her team have helped tremendously), as well as individual coaching. Marija is an amazing person - she's someone I'd really love to talk to, and whose positive attitude continuously rubbed off on me. She has an amazing team of German teachers (either they or Marija will answer your question almost instantly). In addition, she has an endless amount of materials (whatever you can think of, I'm sure she can find some exercise sheets to send you immediately). Finally, I found lots of amazing souls who took the courses with me. Anyway, learning German is hard (

Four years ago I decided to improve my b1 level German by self studying. As an adult with full time obligations I was looking for flexibility but also a pleasant way...I enrolled to one online (native) german teacher set of courses. Effective, but boring. The night before taking the B2 Goethe exam in Greece I looked in YouTube for oral skills practice. I came across German with Marija. That was it. Since then I follow her channel, enroll in courses and have successfully passed all the exams up to C2 with sporadic study just a month before each exam. Most importantly I am grateful to have "met" an inspiring person like Ms. Marija, a great teacher, an educated person! Keep up the good work!

A great teacher of the German language: Marija makes down-to-Earth, eminently practical videos about the use and abuse of German. When she speaks about problems students face it's always distilled from many years of teaching experience, and well worth paying close attention to. She's also very funny, particularly if you like a dry sense of humour! Highly recommended!

Taking the "Deutsch C1" course is getting to see German language's "human face" :) Thank you for all the logical, understandable and highly PRACTICAL explanations, for your wit (your lectures are a pleasure to listen to), for being genuine and making German look friendly and attractive. Highly recommended to everyone who's learning or teaching German. Thank you, Marija!!!
