Had the authentic buffet style hot pot dinner, was delicious with nice choice of veggies and meats. The service was super nice and responsive even to a beginner like me. The location was very good beside the cathedral and train station. Highly recommend if in the area.

Exceptional service! The dumplings were very delicious and they are really made-to-order! The wait for the dumplings was not long. We also had the all-you-can-eat buffet hotpot. The meat and the seafood for the hotpot were fresh and came in chilled! Would come again! 谢谢！一定会再回来！

The restaurant is located very close to the main station so it’s a perfect place to dine right after a long train ride. We have ordered the new duck hotpot in this restaurant. I’m from China and my travel partner is German. We both find it fantastic. The duck is tender and the fat ratio is perfect, it pairs well with the spicy base. The staff is also very friendly and gave recommendations for us. The service is also very efficient. So no matter if you are a local or a traveller, this is the place where you can experience authentic Chinese hotpot with a good price.

I ordered the spicy hot pot, and it was divine. Every bite delivered authentic, bold flavors that completely blew me away. The spices were perfectly balanced, rich, and unforgettable. The ingredient selection is exceptional. The marbled beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the shrimp were huge, fresh, and unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere in Cologne. The variety they offer is as grand as the Dom towering nearby. The service was just as impressive. The staff were attentive, friendly, and consistently made sure drinks were topped off and the hot pot stayed fresh and perfect throughout the meal. Their hospitality really elevated the entire experience. If you’re in Cologne and craving an unforgettable hot pot, China Fortuna Haus is a must‑visit.
