Café Kiess

Had breakfast there before my trip, it was delicious. The place was clean and the workers there were friendly. I will definitely go there again.

Very disappointing experience at Kiss Cafe Würzburg on Valentine’s Day. Just a few days before, each slice of cake cost around €3.20–€3.45, but on Valentine’s Day the same cake was suddenly €7.50 per piece — more than double the price. This feels unfair and excessive. Even worse, items that we did not order were added to our bill. We ended up paying about €36, which is unbelievable for what we actually had. Always check your receipt carefully here. Sadly, this experience felt like taking advantage of customers on a special day. We will not be coming back.

Have walked past this cafe a million times in the last 9 years and we finally gave it a try in August 2024. It was really nice. The staff seemed friendly and the presentation of the cakes at the counter are lessons that needs to be noted. If you normally can’t have JUST cake for breakfast, you might feel an inner fight to change this decision while at Cafe Kiess 😃 I wish them the best and highly recommend them to all!

This is a wonderful place to sit and drink coffee. You order pastry at the bakery bakery and they pass your order on to the coffee seating area if you want to eat it there. The pastries are top notch European pastries. Very delicious and reasonably priced. People who run the shop and those who work there are very virtuous. I paid 7 euros for a hearty chocolate cake and a nice cappuccino. Elsewhere that would get me a mediocre Starbucks drink.
