EDIT: the owner has clarified in the comment that the beef is certified grade beef. So it was actually safe to consume. Keep this comments here so people don’t mistake again. As far as I know, unless you are using certified tartare-grade beef, ground meat must be cooked to an internal temperature of at least 71°C to be safe for consumption. For food safety reasons, I had to stop eating and left the rest of the burger untouched.

If you're looking for a great meal near the Englischer Garten, you have to check out CA-BA-LU. After watching the surfers, it's the perfect place to stop before you hop on the U-Bahn. The regular burger is amazing! It's the perfect size to fill you up, especially with the side of potatoes. These aren't your typical French fries—they're even better. The burger is cooked medium by default, so if you like your meat more or less cooked, just let them know. And don't miss the house vanilla gin and tonic with berries. It's so fresh and a perfect drink to go with your meal.

We had a halloumi and vegan burger and they were both great! Come with a small portion of baked potatoes. Man working there was nice and helpful:)

Great burger 🍔 place! I would recommend you to try this place! The meat was so tender and the the bun also soft. The sauce was perfect. Mine was with fried onion so it was a bit crunchy as well. As side you can also get homemade salad and potato fried. Overall I love the combination, melted in your mouth with some crunch. The price also okay, one thing that you can only pay by card with minimum 50€. The waiter also very humble and did his job. Thanks! In addition they have also bunch range of drinks like in the bar. From alcoholic to soda. So nice place to hangout as well. One thing again, eventho the place so small but the toilet is very clean. Love it!

We came to taste delicious burgers and the local beer. Reasonable prices for big portions. It’s a small place so it can be crowded in the evenings.
