ATU München - Pasing

I had a disappointing experience at ATU Pasing. I brought my car in for an AC repair and was told it would take about 1.5 hours. Surprisingly, I received an SMS five minutes before end time saying the car was ready for collection. After paying at the reception, I asked for my car key. The receptionist, a man in his mid 50s, said they had probably already given it to me and that the car must be outside. I told him I still saw my car inside the workshop. Instead of checking, he joked, "It won't catch fire in there, just go and get it." The staff spoke in German and laughed, and other customers joined in. It was embarrassing and made me feel very uncomfortable. Customers should not be expected to walk into the workshop, and being laughed at is not acceptable. I expect better professionalism and respect. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously, addresses the behaviour of the reception staff, and ensures customers are treated with courtesy and made to feel welcome and not made fun about.

I’m giving them 3 stars because they eventually refilled my car’s AC, but the experience was frustrating. When I first went there, nobody helped me. They claimed they didn’t understand English. So I booked an appointment through their AI service. On the appointment day, I told one of the staff I had an appointment. I said it in English, and he immediately started laughing. He kept talking about it with his colleagues in German, laughing the whole time. I’d even catch the word “appointment” as they talked. I’ve asked other Germans since then, and they said it wasn’t funny—just weird. Finally, he connected me with another employee who spoke German. That person checked my car for coolant and said it was already full. When I asked about the AC, he said he was booked out and couldn’t do it. I reminded him I had an appointment specifically for the AC.

Bought new tires from ATU online, set delivery this Pasing branch, scheduled for installation (gave 10 days buffer for delivery to make sure I don't show up early); only one person spoke English at the branch but got the job done. 2 hours later received an sms to go pickup the car. All in all, positive experience.

I read a couple of the other reviews and they definitely did not sound positive. Me and my wife decided to head here to get our headlight looked at and possibly fixed. Surprisingly, the man who helped us out was very helpful and fixed our issue. It was very fast and took about 20 minutes for them to fix the issue. Definitely would come back for quick repairs.

I wanted to do wheel alignment (Spureinstellung). I got the appointment. I bought new tire covers from ATU shop and gave them to put them on my wheels. When I got the car back, they said the covers don't fit. I said alright I would like to return them. The people at counter said they should be in their package. I said I gave them brand new and the workshop people threw away the box and I don't have it. They said bring the receipt. I went back and bring it. The blonde lady at the counter was rudely telling me speak German or wait. While I was waiting, another female customer started shouting at me that you are in deutchland so speak deutche otherwise leave our country. The entire staff was staring at my face, making me feel more bad. Another customer stood up and shut the lady. Please treat your customers as human.
