Service was good, food and drinks too. Andechs has probably the best lager beer in my opinion. Desserts were nice too. It's situated in the most crowded area of München, so you can expect a big crowd any time you visit, like pretty much everywhere in the center.

Food here is good by standards. The service is incredible and friendly. If you’re looking for some delicious German food with a nice beer and a view of the city, this is the place to go. I highly recommend it.

I had a pleasant experience, not perfect but better than average. Most of the dishes are in good quality, I didn’t like the salmon tartare at all. I tried it before in Frankfurt and it was good, but not this one. Desserts were below average. Duck was a masterpiece.

Best apple strudel I’ve ever had. Get the vanilla sauce on it. Seems to be a local favorite. Everything was delicious. Get reservations.

Honestly I typically avoid old town but I love Andechs beer so we came before a basketball game. It was soooo good. My son said it was the best duck he's ever had. The atmosphere is nice, kind of like elevated Bavarian and will definitely come back
