Amazing food and even more amazing service. We had a lovely time in this very medical looking cosy cafe.

Peaceful and relaxing location for a lovely lunch and coffee. Picturesque, easy to get to by car from Bamberg, with free parking nearby. Access to the castle courtyard is free, service at the restaurant hatches is friendly and welcoming.

Amazing views over Bamberg. Delicious food and great beers, plus it's lovely to just walk around and explore the castle area (great for kids too). We've also been to the evening restaurant, which is also excellent. Highly recommended if you're in the area. Cheers to Oliver and all. 🍻

Amazing trip up to this castle. You cannot see it from below and I didn't really even know it was up there except for the location on Google maps. There is a trail up the hill with a few meters with no sidewalk up a steep hill. Once you get there you're welcome with stunning views of Bamberg. Beer garden with food is your prize! Includes a rather large assortment of beer options compared to other local establishments. It costs 1 € to climb the tower, but other than that it's free!

A well-preserved, if Spartan castle. The views are wonderful and there is a nice restaurant outdoors that's excellent for enjoying the view. There's lots of place to run around so it's also a good place to take kids. You can also climb up a tower there.
