For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 9:30 am–8 pm. It is closed on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 089 37454752. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is zhiangliang-malatang.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 257 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded chinesisch, thai, vietnamesisch & indisch in München.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

Went here for dinner with my partner. Together we paid about 30€ for a good amount of meat which is not great but not bad either. The selection of ingredients here is pretty good. Lots of different meats, seafood etc. and the quality is decent though the beef could be less chewy. The beef bone broth was flavorful and quite tasty but the mushroom soup was not so nice. In general the broth is a bit too salty. Selection of dipping sauces is normal. Overall it's a decent spot for malatang but not a place I'd go out of my way to eat at.

The tofu in the mala tang was still ice cold inside, which means it was not properly heated at all. The taste was very bad. After I went home and finished eating, I had diarrhea. Also, the cooking pot used for the mala tang does not seem to be cleaned properly. They cooked one customer’s mala tang and then immediately cooked the next one in the same pot. You could clearly see the foam from the previous soup base still sticking to the bottom of the pot. This raises serious concerns about the hygiene and food safety of this restaurant. Very bad experience.

first time ate malatang in Munich but already tasted the best one. i chose the beef broth one with extra spicy and omg it didn’t disappoint me even tho i have such a high spicy tolerance. the extra sauces we can choose made my food taste to another level. my partner said it would be a unfortunate thing if we only experienced it once. the uncle was so friendly and explained us about the drinks because they’re only written on chinese/mandarin (?) (correct me if i’m wrong please) but i would come again for sure! the place actually hard to find bc it doesn’t written on google on which part of the building. but it doesn’t have smth to do with the reviews tho, it’s perfect and delicious!

Excellent food with variety of choices. You can have the classic Malatang in different flavors. And there is also other menus such as hungdun (wan tan), cold nuddles and others staff. This is the first time we find a solution for a full family with different tastes.

One of the best place to eat right now in Pasing, taste was just amazing, the perfect balance of flavors. To top it all up, service was just top notch. I know from here on where my money is going every week.
