For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.
Opening hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 5:30–10:30 pm. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Yuyumi Haidhausen München on 089 33039228; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. More information is available on its website, yuyumi.de.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Needed to post this under a different google account, as the restaurant actively deletes bad reviews, saying they are diffamation. Food isn't good and they don't take constructive criticism... Lowered my original review to 1 star. Disappointing. This place is pricey, very pricey, so you would expect ingredients of quality. It isn't the case. Meat used for bulgogi dishes is very poor, chewy and fatty, and looks like cartilage. When staff asked us if we liked the food, we were honest and reported the issue, showing some meat pieces that were obviously not eatable, which went completely unacknowledged. Staff ask the question, but are apparently not really willing to hear a feedback... Upon paying, no mention of this either. They also don't offer banchan which are served pretty much in any Korean restaurant in the world. Only the fried chicken was good... Though it's hard to tell if the meat was of better quality. Expensive, low value, staff doesn't care, go somewhere else. We paid 80€ for 2, and at this price you can find much better in Munich.

I recently tried the authentic Bibimbap here, and while the food itself was genuinely good, the prices felt quite expensive for what was offered. The Bibimbap had fresh ingredients, well-seasoned vegetables, and a nicely balanced sauce that gave it an authentic Korean taste. The presentation was also appealing, and the portion size was decent. However, considering the simplicity of the dish and the overall portion, the price seemed a bit high compared to other Korean restaurants I’ve tried. The quality was definitely there, but the value-for-money aspect could be improved. If you’re looking to try Bibimbap that tastes close to the traditional Korean style, this place is a good choice. Just be prepared to spend a little more than expected. Overall, good food but not the most budget-friendly option.

We had a great experience and amazingly tasty food last evening. We've tried quite a few things: spicy chicken wings (amaaaaazing!!!), fried coconut schrimp, mandus, kimchi jjigae, japchae, cinnamon pancake, soft cheese cake + cocktails 🤤 and soju... really tasty allnof them. The service was very friendly, and the owner was very kind and always ready to help. I must say, this was the best customer experience I had since moving to Munich 2 years+ ago. We will definitely be back!

Taking a star off because this is a slightly pricey place for what you get: good, but standard Korean fare. The portions are alright for one. It's stepping into Munich fancy territory. What we did have was decent, the seafood pancake and the spicy wings (more sweet not that spicy). Also want to try the Bingsoo (Korean shaved ice) that they advertise up and down, but turns out they simply didn't offer it that day due to being short staffed. Will come back and try at some point.

Really nice place, easy to reach, well decorated... It's recommended to make a reservation, it seems to be pretty packed normally. The restaurant it's not that big. The food is really nice, great variety of Korean food, well showed and prepared. The staff was a little off. We were 45 minutes without food, speaking and finishing our drinks and even then, they only came to the table because kitchen was closing, not because we had empty plates. So a little disappointed in that. Even with this experience, I could be back some day.
