Salons, spas and fitness studios in Germany are best booked ahead, especially for evenings and Saturdays, and most now take bookings online or through WhatsApp as well as by phone. Agree the service and the price before you start, note that many salons close on Mondays, and tip 5-10% in cash if you are happy. Gyms usually ask for a 12- or 24-month contract, with the monthly rate falling the longer you sign up for, so read the cancellation clause.

Opening hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 10 am–9 pm. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 0176 45645186. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. More information is available on its website, yuan-massage.de.

Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 64 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect before you commit to a visit.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

I had a lot of shoulder pain before coming here, but after the massage I felt a great improvement and much less discomfort. The therapist was very professional, careful, and friendly. The environment was clean and relaxing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back.

Not worth it. I paid for a full-body massage, but the therapist spent around 45 minutes only on my back. Even after I asked several times for a full-body treatment, she only switched to my legs for the last 5 minutes of the session. The therapist also came across as rude and unprofessional, which made the experience uncomfortable. On top of that, the massage room had an unpleasant smell. Overall, I was disappointed with both the service and the professionalism, and I would not return.

Only down side of this place is they don't take card, only cash or PayPal. However, they do take walk in and other then that the massage was relaxing and it literally put me to sleep and melted away all my stiffness...

My sister and I had wonderful massages today. We just arrived in Munich yesterday and really needed them after a 11+ hr flight. We called during breakfast and the very nice woman told us to come at noon. It was a different technique than we've ever had and when we left, we were relaxed, invigorated, and our jetlag disappeared. If you're on the fence, don't be. It was good. We did a 90 minute, and actually received every single one of them which doesn't always happen. And TBH, the time flew by. Or maybe I fell asleep, I honestly can't be sure. My only tip: bring cash. I didn't know when we made the appointment so had to hang around for my husband to bring it to us- a super minor thing. Wish we were here long enough to get another one!

Very nice massage. It is located on the ground floor inside the building. Very relaxing and peaceful and definitely highly recommend. Received the Tui Na Massage for 6minutes.
