München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

On arrival wasn't too sure about this place, bit of a mish mash of vehicles? Great little place though. Very friendly, helpful and warm welcome. Really good location for public transport to access the city. On site facilities good and really quiet overnight. Value for money. Would totally recommend 👌

Plenty of room. Good showers. Helpful staff. Getting expensive. 39-40 minute walk to Moosach train station. Can easily get to Munich in under an hour with bus and train. Shops are pretty close.

I have just spent 3 nights here with my family in a caravan. The pitches are big, electricity, the bathrooms are new and clean, WiFi... It's easy to go to the city centre. They have info about the buses and you have a bus stop close to the campsite. I chose the option of car+underground (there is a park and ride at Moosach station for 1.50€ a day) and in 30 min I was in Marienplatz. The owner are young people, very nice. The price is fair, not expensive. I do recommend it.

Do not book this campsite! You book at your own Risk!!! We contacted the campsite back in June, to book for Coldplay in August, they emailed straight back politely telling us to email back and book in the month of July …. We have been emailing and phoning them constantly since the beginning of July with no response! 4 weeks later , we finally we received a response to say they did have my booking request, or any of my calls or emails and no one speaks English! How very convenient! Once I sent over a copy of our original booking request, they responded saying they are now fully booked !! I am now 6 1/2 months pregnant (which I stated in my original email), with no place to stay in Munich as we waited to book, aa instructed ! They are not interested in our booking for two, as they advise us the workers for the show are all staying , which will clearly offer them more money. Greedy and poor and rude customer service ! Avoid at all costs unless you want to be messed about!!

Had a really pleasant stay here for 3 days. Don’t be out off by the approach road or the entrance- looks can be deceiving! We were met at the gate by Lorenzo who explained the site etc. We were set up in 10 mins. Parked in pitch 9 (pitch 8 is better as it faces the fence so offers betters privacy) Decent facilities and all new toilet block and showers. Washing machines, driers, cooking area at the rear. Bus stop to Moosach or Allach is 7 mins walk. There’s also a HIT supermarket 10 mins walk. Super quiet 🤫- actually the birds woke us at 4am 😂 We left early so hadn’t paid but contacted the team via the whats app number and they send the payment link via email. Worked out at 30€ per day and 3.50€ per chemical empty. Under 100€ for 3 days is great value. Would stay here again.
