The hotel was clean and the staff were generally kind and helpful, but there was one major issue that really affected the experience. The woman checking guests in at the breakfast area was consistently unprofessional. Her behavior made guests feel as if they were trying to get something for free or steal food from the breakfast buffet, which was already quite limited. She constantly watches guests while they eat, and even removes plates if someone leaves the table briefly to refill their coffee. The atmosphere became uncomfortable and stressful instead of welcoming. Guests pay for breakfast as part of their stay — it is not being offered for free. A little more respect and hospitality would make a big difference. The overly suspicious attitude over a few pieces of cheese and eggs was unnecessary and disappointing.

Stayed here for the Easter holidays as it was a bargain compared to other hotels in Berlin. We got the deluxe room, which was surprisingly spacious, quiet and with a great view. While the bathroom rather gives me school gym vibes, the service at the hotel was amazing. Thorough cleaned every day, restocked the coffee capsules and water and even folded the pyjama we left on the bed. Service way better than what I expected in a hotel of this classification. Only the location is maybe not the best for tourism but still okay. While infrequent, there is a direct bus to the central station. Alternatively there are also two metro lines within a 15min walk - still pretty good.

For a 3 star hotel there were some services missing, 1. Refrigirator 2. Electric Kettel in the room with tea and coffee bags + sugar etc. 3. Slippers!!! - The pillows could be easily used as a rug, they were litterly as flat, we got to fill them with our winter jackets, - the same for the blankets, too thin, felt uncomfy. + the room had a balconey + the receptionists were kind and always helpful.

EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED!!! terrible terrible service. we are staying here for 6 weeks, our toilet and shower has been clogged for 3 days, they told us they fixed it when they didn't actually fix it. we talked to reception again and the man said he didn't want to clean it up (when our entire bathroom is overflown with sewer stuff and smells super bad). he told us to just use the bathroom of the basement when it's been 3 days that we haven't been able to use the bathroom. i would've expected them to give us the option for another room, etc. it's extremely unhygienic and it could cause infections. not only dissapointed but mad because it's disguising and would've expected better attention specially since we are living here 6 weeks and have no other option to shower/ use the bathroom. don't recommend coming here at all. Edit: they fixed and cleaned everything, they apologized with a gift basket and a drinks voucher. Hope it doesn't happen again.
