Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.
Opening hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 14:00–00:00. Berlin is in the state of Berlin, the capital and largest city of Germany; summers are warm, winters grey and cold with occasional snow, and the dense U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus network puts most businesses within a few minutes' walk of a stop. Getting around Berlin is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Berlin and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

The staff is really kind and helpful! The atmosphere is really nice and it gives u the German beer shop feeling! The food was nice with big portions! The pork knuckle was not that crispy on the outside as it should be but still was tasty! The beer was great! The price for each plate was about 18€-21€.

This is a very nice restaurant. I tried asking for a table for two but a staff member very rudely told me sorry we have no place today. 10 minutes later, my friend arrived and we just sat on the other side of the restaurant. Well, the service staff on the other side was super friendly and my friend and I ended up having a very nice meal and drinks and we sat in the (full for the rest of the night restaurant) for 3 hours much of which emptied in the next one hour. The food was good though. And so were the drinks. The ambiance feels warm and homely. So overall, it ended up being a good experience. Started too bitter though

Writing the review as a sit here eating my pork knuckle and drinking my beer. I am also breaking my rule of taking pictures of my food. The food is out of this world. Best pork knuckle I've ever had and the roasted potatoes are incredible. Honestly, it was my favorite meal in Berlin. As an American who can't speak any German, they have treated me better than I deserve. Will absolutely be back to try their other dishes.

Tiergartenquelle leaves a wonderful impression! The interior creates the feel of an old tavern. The service is top-notch — the staff is polite and attentive, ready to assist with choices. The menu offers a variety of dishes, and everything I tried was very tasty! I was especially pleased with the portion sizes. The beer from Brauerei Lemke always leaves a nice impression. It's also worth mentioning the excellent location of the establishment — right by the Tiergarten. The restaurant is located under the S-Bahn line. We come here with colleagues to celebrate the end of the quarter at work. Be sure to reserve a table in advance. On Thursday evenings, it gets so crowded that there's hardly any room left!

Very pleasant restaurant. I came here for dinner and they were allowing outdoor dining only as the weather was beautiful outside. A new concept to me 😅, but I enjoyed it. It was truly an amazing experience to dine outside. I tried the schnitzel, pretzel, and large beer (one of the lighter versions, don’t remember the name). The pretzel is good with well balanced salt distribution on it. I just wish they would keep it in a covered view area rather than in the open as it can get exposed to droplets from the ordering crowd. The schnitzel was amazing. The meat is very tender and juicy. Full of flavor. Solid 9.5/10. The potatoes are very crispy from the outside and soft from the inside. Never realized I can like fried potatoes that much. Overall was a good experience.
