Bereits seit 2007 lädt The Potting Shed seine Gäste ein zu Tapas , Peruanischen Spezialitäten & Burgern, Special Cocktails und Weinen. Bei uns kann man im angenehmer Atmosphäre Geburtstagspartys und kleine Firmen Events feiern oder auch nur mal mit Freunden gemütlich beisammensitzen. Dafür stehen ca 40 Innenplätze und bei schönem Wetter weitere 60 Sitzplätze auf unserer überdachten Terrasse mit Schanigartem und zum Teil mit Heizstrahlern zur Verfügung.

I expected to be impressed by a €21 burger—but instead, I was blown away by how bad it was. We ordered one special and two sliders (the Canadian and the Mexican), and honestly couldn’t tell them apart, except for a few stray jalapeños on the “Mexican” one. All three were soaked in the same heavy tomato-barbecue sauce, which completely masked any distinct flavors. Our appetizer never arrived, probably for the best. The so-called side “salad” was nothing more than a tiny portion of red cabbage. Overall, a huge disappointment and absolutely not worth the price.

Everybody who said this is a rude place, obviously never really experienced rudeness! The owner is very attentive, the burgers are juicy and delicious and the cocktails have fire in them! It’s an absolute experience! It even has a nice outside area during the warmer days.

The food in this restaurant is somewhat peculiar. Some dishes are supposedly Peruvian but in reality a weird mixture (including focaccia, for instance). It took a long time for our dishes to come and when they did, to my big surprise, the cod that I had ordered looked suspiciously like anything but cod (it was burgundy-ish). It turns out that they had run out of cod and just swapped it for tuna without asking if that would be ok with me! This is really bad service and lack of consideration for customers. When we paid the bill the waiter asked for a tip when I felt I was entitled to a big discount!

Very nice burger and cocktails! There's also an option to select two different flavors of small burgers (sliders) into one dish. The burger also comes with light coleslaw and tasty fried potatoes as side dishes. As for drinks, there is a huge variety of cocktails to choose from. We have tried more than 5 different cocktails and most of them are really excellent! This bar is very cozy but there are not so many seats. Not a bad idea to make a reservation.

Small restaurant with some outdoor seating in summer, so better get a reservation. Super friendly and caring staff. The cocktails are exceptional and not like the standard stuff you get in each and every bar or restaurant. They have nice burgers and tapas (ask for the menu card). We had a great evening. Try the "Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte Shot", it is amazing!
