Went with friends for dinner and absolutely loved the plov! It wasn’t dry, had a great balance of spices, and came with a generous amount of meat. I also really enjoyed the tea. It felt quite nostalgic for me, especially being served in a cute little teapot. My friends ordered a burger and shashlik as well, but I didn’t try either, so I can’t comment on those dishes. The honey cake wasn’t overly sweet, which I appreciated, but it wasn’t my favourite version of the dessert. Overall, the food is on the slightly more expensive side for this type of restaurant, so I’d especially recommend the plov and the tea—they seem to offer the best value for money. I’d also love to come back to try the samsa, which apparently often sells out before dinner. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was nice, although it did get a bit loud as the evening went on.

Second time visiting this Uzbek restaurant, and it definitely did not disappoint! This time, instead of ordering a big plate, my friend and I decided to keep it simple with a small portion of palov, a big pot of tea, and a honey cake to share. Cozy, comforting, and absolutely satisfying!

This was my first time trying Central Asian food and I was very pleased with it. There were lots of similarities to Persian food with some distinct twists. The service was excellent, it is a small family restaurant and everyone is very friendly with prompt service. The price is pretty reasonable for Munich. I paid 18€ for Osh, an Uzbek speciality, and a large glass of tee.

It was a great atmosphere. In general, I can't think of a bad or average Uzbek restaurant; Samarkand was also great, delicious plov, samsa, and manti, then tea and Napoleon cake. I definitely recommend Samarkand!

This is so amazing, I have no words… the staff is warm, welcoming and attentive even when the restaurant has a full seating. The food is incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is authentic. We recommend to reserve in advance!
