We had dinner here with business partners. Unfortunately, the way the tip was handled left a very bad impression. When it came time to pay, the waiter brought the card terminal with the amount already entered, including €55.79 in tip. I was never asked whether I wanted to leave a tip or how much. The bill was only handed to me after I had already paid. I only noticed this later at the hotel when checking the receipt. I find this completely unacceptable. I am happy to tip for good service, but a tip is voluntary and should always be the customer's choice. It should never simply be added to the bill without asking. I contacted the restaurant through their contact form, but so far I have received no response. The way this was handled at the payment terminal, followed by the lack of any response from the restaurant, is simply not acceptable.

The cocktails were good, and the side dishes were tasty, although I think there could have been more asparagus. The steak was good, and the requested cooking level was respected. We were served quickly. We sat on the terrace, and even though it’s next to the road, it didn’t bother us. Overall, a good experience.

We ate here on the first night in köln and honestly was blown away. We both got the sirloin steak with mac and cheese, which by the way was great value for money considering it was absolutely delicious. Our waiter (i think his name was sam or Samuel?) was incredibly helpful with beer recommendations, help with the menu, and just great to chat to about local recommendations and places to see/the culture. The seating area outside was nice and clean too.

My husband and I ordered tenderloin steak, Caesar salad and chicken wings! The wings were surprisingly great, recommended! The steak was perfect and made for one person. Salad was yummy as usual! Jack Daniels and coke is a must try too! Our waiter was Mr. Samir, who was super friendly! Thanks :)

The place is stylishly designed and the staff were very attentive. We had a hamburger and grilled steak. Even though we asked for the meat to be well done, it wasn’t dry at all and was still tender. We also ordered sweet potato fries on the side — they were perfectly crispy and really tasty. The ventilation could be better, as there was a slight smell inside. I’d recommend making a reservation so you can get a nice table upstairs.
