We were on our way from Walhalla to Chemnitz and decided to “charge” ourselves with a good coffee on the road. Google Maps suggested this café and we definitely do not regret stopping here. The coffee was incredibly tasty — rich, smooth and perfectly made. The atmosphere is light, cozy and very pleasant, perfect for a short relaxing break. The girls-baristas were very friendly and welcoming and the cakes looked absolutely amazing. A lovely place that made our trip even better!

Extraordinarily delicious food, we had the vegetarian dishes, very lovely cakes, great coffee and matchas, the selfmade chili oil is so flavourful as well as the sirups they're using to sweeten the matcha. The service is friendly and very attentive and forthcoming. We're a bit sad to live few hours away, but we'll be back 😊 (once the chili oil runs out :D)

This is my last time at Tava Cafe. I’m really grateful for all the help you have given me over the past six months. It was also the first time I gathered the courage to practice German (even if it was just learning how to order). Every time I left, you would say “have a nice day,” and I would reply “see you.” But this time, it’s a final goodbye . I hope your café keeps getting better and better.

Finally able to visit this adorable new Café! ✨ I was first welcomed warmly by the staff and my order was quickly processed. Tava is a family-owned business and apart from some desserts, every recipe is homemade. I tried the Early Gray Matcha, Mango Matcha, Strawberry Matcha and Hojicha Latte…the earl gray one was my fave! To-Go option was also possible. They use matcha with an amazing quality (see the colour!). The bánh mìs were also delicious - I had the pulled chicken and xa xíu version - the bread texture is dreamy as well as the freshly picked ingredients. The cook served them himself! Additionally, the homebaked cheesecake is a must-try. Cannot wait to come back 🩵
