Travel businesses in Berlin serve both domestic and international visitors. Compare the rate here with the property's own website before you commit, check the cancellation terms and keep a copy of your booking. Deutsche Bahn fares are cheapest weeks ahead as Sparpreis tickets, the Deutschlandticket covers local and regional transport for a flat monthly fee, and peak periods such as Easter, Whitsun, the July-August holidays and Advent fill popular destinations months ahead.

Opening hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in Berlin keep standard hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on the weekly Ruhetag, on Sundays and over the Christmas and Easter holidays. The listed phone number is 040 30970377. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is belvilla.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating is 3.7 out of 5 from 1,726 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect before you commit to a visit.

Berlin is in the state of Berlin, the capital and largest city of Germany; summers are warm, winters grey and cold with occasional snow, and the dense U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus network puts most businesses within a few minutes' walk of a stop. Getting around Berlin is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Berlin and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

We recently stayed at the Mercure Hotel Berlin City West for four nights, and I genuinely cannot understand how this hotel is rated as a 4-star property. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, it felt like a rundown hotel that has been forgotten by its owners. Everything—from the lobby and pool to the downstairs bar and even the suite (which was supposedly their best room)—was much smaller than the photos online and looked worn, outdated, and poorly maintained. On our way to our suite for the first time, we passed several rooms that housekeeping was still cleaning. The doors were open, and every room we walked by had severely stained carpet that was bubbling up. It immediately made me nervous about what we would find in our own room. While our suite's carpet wasn't bubbling, it was heavily stained and looked so dirty that I wore flip-flops the entire time we were in the room. There was also a faint cigarette smell, as if someone had smoked there previously. The bathroom was extremely dated, with stains throughout the sink and bathtub, sticky walls, and a shower curtain covered in mold along the bottom edge. The bedroom ceiling showed obvious signs of water damage, one

This is probably the worst 4 star hotel I have stayed in. This Mercure is worst than any Travelodge on the motorway service stations. Rooms are from the 1990s, the bathroom looks like a student halls bathroom from the 80s. The swimming pool is disgusting. The only good thing about this hotel is how friendly and helpful the staff are. The gentlemen at the reception was very helpful and thoughtful. Overall a terrible hotel, it isn't cheap either 189 Euro a night !!

I have been a loyal ALL Accor Platinum member for years, and unfortunately my experience at this hotel was far below the standard I normally associate with Mercure and the ALL Accor brand. Upon check-in, I was shown three different rooms. All three had a strong nicotine smell, as if someone had recently smoked inside. This is unacceptable for a hotel operating under an international brand, especially when guests expect clean, fresh, non-smoking rooms. In addition, the room had no fridge, no minibar, and not even a complimentary bottle of water. As a Platinum member, I have stayed in many Mercure hotels across Germany, where Privilege Rooms usually include basic amenities such as a fridge or minibar and a proper welcome experience. Also, there was no coffee machine in the room, and the cups provided were plastic, like those used at a beach club. Here, none of that was provided. What disappointed me most was not only the lack of facilities, but the overall attitude. I did not feel welcomed or valued as a loyal guest. The hotel gives the impression that guest comfort and loyalty status are not taken seriously. In my opinion, this hotel does not reflect the usual Mercure standard, nor

I rarely write negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing. I accidentally booked a non-refundable rate for a business trip that was cancelled shortly after. I fully understood the policy and did not insist on a refund. Instead, I politely asked for a goodwill gesture such as a voucher or credit for a future stay. Despite contacting the hotel multiple times, and even involving Accor Customer Care, the hotel refused any form of flexibility. Even more frustrating, after the case was escalated, the hotel stopped responding altogether. What disappointed me the most was not the refusal itself, but the complete lack of customer-oriented approach and communication. For a global hotel group, I expected a more professional and understanding handling of such situations. Unfortunately, this experience has significantly affected my trust, and I will reconsider choosing Accor hotels in the future.
