When booking accommodation or travel services in Germany, confirm the check-in window, whether the rate includes breakfast and the local city tax (Kurtaxe or Bettensteuer), and what the cancellation terms are; pensions and Gasthöfe are often family-run and appreciate notice. Reviews that mention noise, bed size, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices jump around trade fairs, the Christmas markets, Oktoberfest and the summer school holidays, so book early for those dates.

Opening hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in Nürnberg keep standard hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on the weekly Ruhetag, on Sundays and over the Christmas and Easter holidays. You can reach StayS Apartments on 0911 4099539; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. More information is available on its website, stay-s.de.

Nürnberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Nürnberg is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

The apartment is bigger than our expectations. Very clean and well maintained. We arrived late in night, the self check in is easy, as they send you very detailed instructions, even with a video. On the day of the check out we left our luggage for free in a luggage room in the basement. The area is safe and calm, even when walking in the night. A little park with a nice playground is aside. The apartment is easily reached by U2 from the airport and 2-3 minutes on foot.

We stayed in StayS apartment for a week with our 4 year old twins and loved it! We had a one bedroom apartment and it was equipped with everything I needed to settle into our travel. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was even a stepping stool for our kids! It was spacious, bright and airy, overlooking the park across the road with a playground. It was very close to the tram and train stations plus supermarkets and other amenities. I missed staying there!

Clean small Apartment good location for all the sights. Bathroom is a little cramped and you need good gymnastics getting in and out of the shower but otherwise an excellent stay

I've stayed at StayS in nuremberg twice now and each time has been fantastic. It is well equipped and even has Netflix incase you want to watch something on the big TV. It even has a nespresso machine equipped with coffee pods. Overall it is extremely clean and all of the furnifure is very comfortable. I had a bit of trouble getting into my room on this occasion as I was having trouble with my key fob, however I phoned Anja and she was over to see me and let me in within 15 minutes which I was very happy about. Overall the place is great and I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone staying in nuremberg. Thanks again anja for a lovely stay, I'll be back again in a few months without a doubt. Cheers!
